Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Vectnix platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including students, instructors, administrators, and guest users.

2. Description of Service

Vectnix is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) aviation training management platform operated by ROVIV TECH. The Platform provides tools for:

  • Managing flight training simulators and qualifications
  • Tracking Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests and results
  • Recording flight logs and training sessions via the Kiosk module
  • Managing maintenance schedules and defect reports
  • Inventory and parts management
  • User and role management with multi-tenant support

3. User Accounts

Access to the Platform requires an account created by your organisation's administrator. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying your administrator immediately of any unauthorised use
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date

You must not share your credentials with others or use another person's account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts or system components
  • Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform
  • Falsify training records, test results, or other aviation-related data
  • Use the Platform in any way that violates aviation safety regulations

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of ROVIV TECH and its licensors. Your organisation's subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

6. Data Ownership

Your organisation retains ownership of all data entered into the Platform ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data solely to provide the Platform services and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Data Processing Agreements.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for any temporary unavailability due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish and EU law:

  • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by your organisation in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • The Platform is a management tool and does not replace regulatory compliance obligations. Your organisation remains responsible for meeting all applicable aviation regulations.

9. Termination

Your access to the Platform is governed by the agreement between ROVIV TECH and your organisation. Individual user accounts may be suspended or terminated by your organisation's administrator or by ROVIV TECH in the event of a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Platform and associated data will be handled in accordance with the applicable service agreement.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via your organisation's administrator. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
